Z-COMMAND and Z-WAVE

Good afternoon All, I have been using X-10 for several years, via an OCELOT controller, works pretty good, without too many problems. I am looking at gradually changing over to Z-Wave. There are obviously lots of differences between the X-10 and the Z-Wave protocol, I am confused by the following. I...

Re: TIMERS

WOW!

I was not aware of that, in other words, if I used the Aeotec ZW100 6 IN 1, in combination with the Z-Command, this would permit, to establish a pre-determined timer to be activated upon motion capture.

Don't know how, but if you say, it works that way, great.

So first question, can I use Z-Command without ever having to deal with the internet. Two, is the Z-Command software reside ...

Re: Raspberry PI I/O

That could be a difficult task.

Asking me to write a script, would be just as bad as asking me to run a marathon, I weigh 280 Lbs, I could probably roll faster that run.

Thanks

Raspberry PI I/O

Good afternoon All, I am looking at purchasing the Z-Command. I was wondering, since the Z-Command is a Raspberry PI, can the supplied software take advantage of the I/O located on the card. Like the Digital input and the Analog inputs, and integrate their status for automation purposes. Thanks Dom
