Re: Z-Command not seeing controler

Great you figured it out. I wonder if the z-stick somehow needed a reset?
If it happens again, disconnect the z-stick, wait a few seconds, reconnect and try again.
If everything else fails, there's a reset button at the back of the z-stick that you can also press.

Make sure the sensor is associated with the controller (node 1).

Re: feature request - action to run script

eebender wrote:Thanks for adding this capability, I've just upgraded my unit and am looking forward to trying it out. If I want define an action to run a user written script, where should the script be placed on the pi's file system? Would it be /home/pi?

/home/pi/customscripts is a good place.

Re: Exclusion Mode

You must have the version with the Sigma Stick (ZC-SIG-US-W) and not the version with the Z-Stick (ZC-AEL-US-W).
Only Aeon Z-Stick has a button on the USB dongle.
You can exclude devices from the Z-Command web interface by clicking "reset device" and following the on-screen prompt.

dechutes, Welcome to the forum! Good to know Z-Command is working well with a previously unknown thermostat. Those sub-devices z-wave features that Z-Command detected but aren't implemented yet. Future upgrades will reveal what those are. You can safely ignore them for now. Can you upload a screensh...

Re: calling queryDevice, isSuccess randomly returns false

By the very nature of wireless [z-wave] networks, it could be due to several things. Let's start by looking at these: ⋅ How close is the switch to the controller? ⋅ How good is your mesh network? Are there other signal repeaters if the distance between the switch and controller i...
